Barn Elms Sports Centre Tennis Courts

Location: Queen Elizabeth Walk, Barnes, Wandsworth, London SW13 9SA

Nearest stations: Putney Bridge tube station (District Line, Wimbledon branch) – 30 minutes walk along the River Thames. Putney train station is roughly the same distance. Barnes Bridge train station is a 20 minute walk.

Leaders Gardens Tennis Courts

Location: Festing Road (off Putney Embankment), Putney, Wandsworth, London SW15 1LS

Nearest stations: Putney Bridge tube station (20 minutes walk), Putney train station (20 minutes walk)

3 hard courts. Beware, the balls can bounce at an awkward angle off the perimeter fences at each end and roll onto the next court.

Battersea Park Tennis Courts

Location: Millennium Arena, Carriage Drive East, Battersea Park, London SW11 4NJ

19 hard tennis courts refurbished to a high standard, with floodlighting. The courts are near the north east corner of the park.

Tennis coaches available through Liam Kelleher Tennis Academy. Liam is the head coach and founder of LKTA. LTA qualified tennis coaches: Freddie McGeenhan, Mitch Rogers, Ollie Brown, Mark Cioni, Freddie Lloyd-Jones, Tomas Hegadus.

Hyde Park Tennis Courts

Location: At the southern end of West Carriage Drive, Hyde Park, London SW7 1QH

Nearest Tube: 20 minute walk through the park from Lancaster Gate tube station.

8 hard tennis courts in great condition (5 of them are floodlit).

Hyde Park Tennis Centre is run by Park Sports.

LTA qualified tennis coaches available: Mark Crowder, Nitish Raj, Luke Regan, Steve O’Shea, Paul Sullivan, Falid Shahin.
